Sexual Health & Wellness

Many women struggle with sexual function issues which can greatly affect their sexual satisfaction and enjoyment, health and relationships. Women’s sexual health is an important part of their physical and emotional health and their concerns should be listened to and appropriately addressed.

Every woman has unique concerns when it comes to her sexual health and wellbeing and there are ways that we can help you to either restore or improve your sexual function and satisfaction.

Many of our patients tell us that something has changed since having children, and sex doesn’t feel the way it used to anymore. The lack of sensation some women experience can lead to decreased desire since intercourse isn’t as pleasurable or satisfying as it once was. This can affect intimate relationships and your overall quality of life.

If this sounds familiar we encourage you to come in for a consultation; Dr. Allan and his staff are comfortable discussing these concerns with you. Dr. Allan offers a thorough assessment of your medical and sexual history, as well as a variety of services and therapies to enhance your sexual health and renew the sensation you once felt.

“Sexual health is a state of physical, mental and social well-being in relation to sexuality. It requires a positive and respectful approach to sexuality and sexual relationships, as well as the possibility of having pleasurable and safe sexual experiences, free of coercion, discrimination and violence.” – World Health Organization
