Laser Vaginoplasty

Laser Vaginoplasty (Laser Vaginal Tightening) modifies the vagina and vulva by reducing the diameter of the vaginal opening (introitus), as well as building up and strengthening the perineal body (the area between the vagina and anus). Women request this procedure to modify the appearance of the vagina and vulva or to address changes in sexual sensation, pleasure and satisfaction.  This procedure is often combined with Laser Reduction Labioplasty.

There are both surgical and non-surgical options available.  Some of the techniques you may have heard of in the media include:

  • Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation™
  • Viveve
  • ThermiVa
  • FemiLift
  • Intimalase / Incontilase
  • Mona Lisa Touch
  • Juliet
  • Venus Fiore
  • Diva

These non-surgical devices aim to treat a number of concerns including:  vaginal atrophy/dryness, urinary incontinence, vaginal laxity, low libido and tightening external tissue.

These devices have given women more options when it comes to their health and the treatments they choose.  If you're considering one of these treatments we encourage you to see Dr. Allan since a complete gynecological exam and thorough medical history is necessary to determine the most appropriate procedure or treatment to achieve your goals.

There are significant differences between all of these devices, and Dr. Allan has expert knowledge on all of these techniques.  He will be happy to meet with you to discuss them in detail, and give you an unbiased opinion of the strengths and weaknesses of each of these and show you the scientific evidence to support them.

To learn more about Laser Vaginoplasty or any of these procedures please contact us to arrange a consultation with Dr. Allan. Both in-office and phone consultations are available. Consultations are free of charge and there is no obligation.  Our goal is to provide you with the information you need to make an informed decision about your body, your health and your wellness.
